Remember Dorne Lefere?

Dorne rehearsing for The Producers

I was reading Barnstorms, the newsletter of The Farmington Players, when I came across a name I recognized. Dorne Lefere. He is listed as playing Dickens in their upcoming production of A Christmas Carol. Earlier this year he starred as Max Bialock in The Producers.

Share your memories here if you worked with Dorne back in the day.

Absolutely! I joyfully remember Dorne's humor and goodheartedness, circa "The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas", 1984. He always had us laughing. What fun to hear that he's still at it!

Greetings, Jacksonians! A fellow cast member in A Christmas Carol alerted me to this blog entry. How nice to be remembered, especially when I am still alive to enjoy it! I remember so well the two vibrant theatre groups in Jackson: Clarklake Players and Jackson Civic Theatre. One wonderful production after another. As you can see, I'm still trodding the boards here in the Detroit area, most often with the Farmington Players. A great group of people that remind me of the dedicated folks back in Jackson. A special hello to Naomi Landman, who commented on her recollection of our time together in "Best Little Whorehouse in Texas." Hope you are still involved in theatre, Naomi, as you are so talented.
You do a great job with this blog, Ann.
Regards,
Dorne Lefere
