Projects proposed for funding during Round One may be held between February 1, 2011 and September 30, 2011. For Fiscal Year 2011, there will only be one funding period and no organization can receive both a MCACA Grant and a MCACA Minigrant. Non-profit organizations in Branch, Calhoun, Hillsdale, Jackson and Lenawee counties planning an arts or cultural event during this period are invited to apply for funding.
The MCACA Minigrant Program provides up to $4,000 in financial assistance, on a matching basis, to non-profit organizations for a wide variety of arts activities that offer special opportunities for communities to enjoy and participate in high-quality arts activities. Decisions are made by a panel of qualified reviewers.
Application packets are available at the Ella Sharp Museum of Art & History office, located at 3225 Fourth Street in Jackson or by emailing creativeconsultingllc@gmail.com.
For further information, contact Alison Loveday, Regranting Coordinatorg, Monday through Friday between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, at 734/748-6001 or by email at creativeconsultingllc@gmail.com.
