Here's an article on Paul that appeared in the Philadelphia Inquirer recently. It talks about his efforts in creating PlayPenn, an incubator for new works.

Interesting article. I noticed that Paul's biography didn't mention anything about the "classic" productions he directed at Stone Village Theater, including his 1977 production of "Taming of the Shrew", where I met my wonderful husband (who had a minor part compared to mine). I also wonder if Paul still has his Jacobson's elastic bow tie necklace. THAT used to be one of his "trademarks". Mary K. Vincent (Rodriguez0
Thanks Ann. That was a blast from the past. Of course, I don’t have the elastic bowtie any longer but I remember Mary and I most definitely remember that production and all of them during what I consider to be a real watershed period for me as a theatre artist.
I’m in rehearsal now as an actor at People’s Light and Theatre where I’ve been a company member for the past 20 years. We’re doing an adaptation of A TALE OF TWO CITIES which opens March 13th and runs through early May. It’s fun. And, of course I’m deeply engaged in making selection for this year’s PlayPenn.
has been involved in theatre all her life. She studied drama at Carnegie Mellon University. She maintains this blog in Jackson, Michigan. You can read what she has to say about productions she has seen on Random Reviews of a Theatrical Nature.

I forwarded this to Paul and he replied:

Hope all’s well with you.
