Kathy and I worked together at the Centenary Library while we were in college. I was in awe in her vocal gifts. She was a role model for me when I decided to study voice years later. I most vividly remember the day she demonstrationed her breathing techniques for me. I also delighted in her sense of humor. She kept those of us who worked in the library 'back office' smiling. I enjoyed visiting her home on occasion during those years, and have often wondered about what she was doing. I am glad to read she shared her gifts and talents with so many others. She was truly wonderful. I extend my deepest sympathy to her husband Dan and her son Jason, and to all of those who loved and admired her.
