Last week Andrew Gans wrote for the Playbill site that Pittsburgh's CLO (Civic Light Opera), Carnegie Mellon University, CMU graduate/composer Stephen Schwartz, and ASCAP would join together to develop new musicals. The New Works Program has chosen Alive at Ten, by Ryan Scott Oliver and Kirsten A. Guenther, as the first musical for further development. Click here to read more.
